Information about processing of your personal data when we transport goods to you

In this privacy policy we (cf. below) describe how we process your personal data when we transport goods to you.

1. Dispatch information – needed so that we shall be able to transport the goods to you

1.1 What information we process and why

When we shall transport a product to you, we normally receive information about you from others that you have entered into an agreement with and who has requested that we transport that product to you. Such information can consist of (without limitation):

  • Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, reference number, time of delivery, information about the goods, such as weight, size and type of goods.  

The information is used so that we shall be able to transport goods to you in accordance with your order.  

1.2 Legal basis

The legal basis for our processing is GDPR article 6 no. 1, letter f (legitimate interest) where we receive the data from others that you have entered into an agreement with, and GDPR article 6 no. 1 letter b. (necessary to fulfill an agreement) where you have entered into an agreement directly with us.

2. Information you give us to adapt our services in accordance with your preferences

2.1 What information we process and why

You can register information about for example where you want us to your goods if you are not available to receive it yourself, or a code to a common entrance if you would like us to deliver the goods by your door. The information is used to adapt our services in accordance with your preferences.

The legal basis for the processing is GDPR article 6 no. 1 letter b. (necessary to fulfill an agreement).

3. 1 What information we process and why

In our service you can register if you want goods delivered on the door. We may document that the goods are delivered by taking a photo, and we will inform you once delivery has taken place. We may also take photos to document any damage to the goods, and also the recipient’s receipt confirmation signature.

In case of ID-control, we register the recipients birth date or social security number.

We register the driver’s coordinates in connection with the transport assignment. Such coordinates can be connected to the goods that was delivered to you and be used to document the accomplishments of the transport assignment.   

3.2 Legal basis

GDPR article 6 no. 1, letter f (legitimate interest). Our interest is to be able to document that the goods is delivered as agreed and to fulfil any commitments towards our transport customer to document that the goods is received/delivered and who has received it.  

4. Customer satisfaction surveys

4.1 What information we process and why

We conduct customer satisfaction surveys to provide a better understanding of how our customers experience us and how to improve our services. In this regard, we process names, emails, telephone numbers and the answers you give in the survey. It is voluntary to participate in customer satisfaction surveys. We employ third parties to conduct customer surveys on our behalf. If you participate in a customer survey, the survey information will be stored separately from other information that we have registered about you.

GDPR article 6 no. 1, letter f (legitimate interest). Our interest in processing the data is that we are dependent on feedback from our customers in order for us the develop and improve.

5. Statistics – analysis and insights

5.1 What information we process and why

Your personal information, including information we receive about you in connection with transport assignments, is used to produce statistics which are then utilised to understand how our services are used, to improve and further develop our services, and to provide insights to our customers. Personal information is pseudonymised before being used to produce statistics. We may also obtain pseudonymous personal information from third parties in connection with the production of statistics. The pseudonymous data set is deleted as soon as it is incorporated in the statistics. You will never be able to be identified or otherwise recognised as part of the statistics.

GDPR article 6 no. 1, letter f (legitimate interest). Our interest in the processing is that getting insight in how our customers use our services is necessary for, among other things, our ability to develop and adapt our services to meet expectations from our customers and the market.
