At the beginning of 2008, Bring Mail started a partnership with a Swedish handicraft and embroidery mail-order company.
Products
are sold via web shops, traditional mail-order catalogues and DM campaigns. The company also has an active club segment with
unique offers for VIP customers.
Items are distributed in a combined logistics flow (letters and packages) from the company’s head office in southern
Sweden
to the different markets, which includes customers in the Nordic countries, Germany and Austria. In other words, the customer
requires a broad range of skills in international postal handling services.
After having acquired similar businesses the company is now in an expansive phase and will, for instance, double the
size
of its warehouse in 2008. To create an all-inclusive solution for this customer, Bring Mail works with our partner Pan Nordic
Logistics in Göteborg. PNL collects, transports and hands over entire batches to Bring Mail which then handles distribution
in each country.
We have taken charge of the flow of goods (both delivery and customer returns) and DM campaigns to Finland and Denmark
in
the initial phase. Bring Mail takes care of all administration in the recipient country in respect to local terms and conditions
as well as contact with local suppliers. When recipients move we make sure that goods are forwarded and addresses are updated.
Bring Mail and PNL take active responsibility for quality assurance and follow up. Our holistic approach to the process
means
that we can offer a cost-effective solution that involves fewer contacts and work for our customer, who is very satisfied.
We are now proceeding to streamline the logistics flow in the rest of the Nordic countries, Germany and Austria.
