Bulk Mail is a solution suitable for those who send mass-produced mail or lots of letters at a time. If you can pre-sort or arrange the shipment for sorting in Posten Norges machines, we can offer a good price.

Can you process the mailing for sorting in Posten Norges machines?

• If you are sending more than 500 letters in standard or large format, it can be processed for sorting in Posten Norges machines.
• If you are sending more than 20 000 machine-processed letters in standard format, you will get a good price if you can pre-sort the items.
• If you are sending more than 5000 letters in large format, the most reasonable solution would be manual sorting - pre-sorting into bunches.

If flexibility of shape and packaging is important to you

• Are you sending more than 200 letters in standard, large or maxi formats that must be hand-sorted due to the envelope or packaging, then Bulk Mail - manual sorting is the solution for you.
• Are you sending more than 5000 items in large or maxi format, it would be worthwhile to pre-sort the items manually.

Q & A

How many items must I send to obtain the Bulk Mail price?
A minimum of 200 items from the same sender in the same format and delivery time (you can send fewer if you pay for 200).

What is machine sorting? 
The items shall conform to Posten Norge's requirements as to machine sorting of letters, and the layout of the items shall have a prior approval. For requrements as to machine sorting of letters. 

Franking Imprint?
Bulk Mail is given a Franking Imprint.  If a Norwegian Franking Imprint is used, a Norwegian return address is required. Additionally, the items shall be marked with the delivery speed - A or B. 

Is there a requirement for manual pre-sorting prior to delivery to Posten Norge?
The price levels for sorting on 2 or 4 digits require manual pre-sorting/bunching.

Do I need an agreement with Bring Mail to use Bulk Mail?
You can send bulk mail without an agreement. An agreement is needed if you are going to use one of the price categories for pre-sorted delivery (applies to more than 5000 letters per mailing).

How is the price calculated?
A price per unit and a price per kilo are paid with reference to the applicable price lists.

Is there a weight limit?
The maximum weight per item is 2 kg.
