Parcels with Cash on Delivery can only be delivered to the door if the sender has preregistered the parcel with the Post Office. If you are not sure whether this is the case, you can attempt to order the parcel for home delivery. If it has not been preregistered, your order will be rejected.
Delivery
The parcel will be delivered to your home Mon-Fri between 17.00 and 21.00. You can set a specific day for the delivery. To have your parcel delivered the next day, you must place your order before 24.00.
You can order At Your Doorstep delivery at bring.no or on tel. 810 00 710 once you have received a pick up notification.
Payment
You can either pay for your order during the ordering process on the Internet or pay the driver. You will be able to pay by credit card on the Internet. The driver will accept payment by debit card (Bankaksept). Any Cash on Delivery amount cannot be paid on the Internet at present.
Sender can also order
At Your Doorstep can also be ordered and paid for by the sender (note: give the postcode of the recipient when asked for “your” postcode). If you want to order and pay for home delivery for a parcel you have sent, however, you must wait until the parcel has been recorded as received by the post office. As the sender, you can trace the parcel using the number on the receipt. Your order can be placed once you have received notification that the parcel has been received at the post office.
If as a sender, you want to order home delivery to a recipient and have not received a receipt with a number, you have sent your parcel by letter post. You can order home delivery once the recipient has received a pick up notification. You will need the arrival number, name of the post office and arrival date. You have to get these details from the recipient.
