Q&A

To which locations will the package be delivered by 0900?
The following towns have postal distribution before 0900.

Will packages be delivered on Saturday?
For ‘Cash customers’, the package must be retrieved at the post office on Saturday. Invoiced customers can get Saturday delivery by paying a surcharge.

What does "feiladresserte pakker" (incorrectly addressed package) mean?
The term is used for packages labelled with the wrong address. For packages to commercial customers, it is important to use the recipient's actual shipping address, NOT their post box address. Incorrectly addressed packages will be charged a fixed surcharge.

Surcharge 01.01.2008 (The price has not changed.)

To ensure a high level of delivery quality, it is essential that packages have appropriate shipping addresses. The requirement for proper shipping addresses is 96%. That is, a minimum of 96% of packages should have the correct shipping address, if a surcharge is to be avoided.

Surcharge is NOK 40 per package.

Tracking: I'm using Norway Posts’ tracking service, and notice that a different postal code is given than that which my packages recipient has.
You observed correctly. This postal code is for the postal unit that delivered the package to your recipient.

What does time guarantee mean?
This means that Norway Post will refund freight charges in the event of delays, if the delay is due to force majeure or incorrect information from the sender's side. It also assumed that the packages are affixed with the right address and that the packages are submitted within the local deadlines.
