Import
For anyone importing goods of a value in excess of NOK 200. The Post Office can perform customs clearance for you to help you save time. If the Post Office does not have such customs clearance authorisation, you will be asked whether this is the first time you have received a consignment from abroad.
Export
For all parcel products to overseas, customs clearance is included in the postage. This does not apply to letter products. Here, customs clearance charges will be added if the Post Office has to perform export customs clearance for you.

**This price covers costs relating to statutory tasks which have to be carried out: arrival processing, registration of the consignment and mandatory customs warehouse accounts for Norwegian Customs.
*** The price for cash settlement/outlay commission will not be calculated for customers with an approved and valid customs credit account with Norwegian Customs.
This means that the import charges are invoiced directly from Norwegian Customs and not paid by us in advance for your company.

By registering your company’s customs credit account number with the Post Office, duty/VAT will then be charged to your company directly from Norwegian Customs.
