The mediation of this year's wage settlement has failed to reach agreement between the Logistics- and Transport Industry Association (LTL) and the Norwegian Transport Workers' Federation (NTF).
NTF has announced that on Saturday May 15th at 6:00 a.m., a total 868 members will be called out on strike. 144 of the 868 are employees in Bring and the remaining 724 members of NTF are employed by our competitors. 93 of our 114 employees are working at the Bring Logistics terminal in Oslo (Karihaugen), 42 at the Bring Frigoscandia terminal located in Skårer and 9 employees at the Bring Frigoscandia Warehouse located in Rud.
It is terminal workers who are to strike, which means that terminal operations at the specified locations will stop completely. We will therefore be unable to maintain normal operations in the Oslo area. We will maintain the services on our direct transports, but some deviations to normal production must be expected.
Goods to and from other countries, normally handled via the terminal in Oslo, are also affected by the strike and will stop completely.
Bring’s other services, Express, Parcels (via Norway Post) and Warehouse Services, will maintain normal operations and are not a part of the process with NTF.
